What a new moon in Aries means
The new moon in Aries opens the astrological year: Sun and Moon together in the first sign, the sign of momentum, beginnings and the body in motion. It is the most favourable moment of the year to start something, provided it is for you and not to please.
Its intentions are phrased in the first person, present tense: “I launch”, “I say”, “I leave”. Aries dislikes long plans: pick one thing and take the first step within forty-eight hours. The full moon in Aries, in October, will show where it led you.
Three intentions to set at the new moon in Aries
- 1
Write one short intention, phrased with “I”.

Take the first concrete step before the end of the week.
- 3
Dare a gesture that takes courage: a request, an application, a “no”.
