Jupiter opposite Mercury transit: meaning, duration and advice
Jupiter opposite Mercury in transit: when it’s activated, your ideas, studies, writing, contracts and the way you communicate are what change.
The opposition is a transit of confrontation: a situation, a person or a choice mirrors back what the natal point represents. The goal is to find balance, not to win. Natal Mercury represents your thinking, your speech, your learning and your exchanges. When it’s activated, your ideas, studies, writing, contracts and the way you communicate are what change.
Jupiter transits by expanding: it opens, enlarges, gives confidence and opportunities. This is the transit of luck, provided you say yes and don’t grab everything. This transit asks you to focus on letting yourself grow, taking up space, putting yourself out there more. The risk: excess: promising too much, spending too much, thinking you’re immune to consequences. The gift: a concrete opening, a useful encounter, a surge of self-belief.
How long does this transit last? With a ±1° orb, Jupiter opposite Mercury lasts a few weeks, up to three or four months with the retrograde. Jupiter takes twelve years to circle the zodiac: this transit returns every twelve years, and under one aspect or another roughly every three.
