11° Capricorn: lasting prosperity built step by step

At 11° Capricorn, we find the Taurus dwad and the term of Jupiter again, in the second decan ruled by Venus. Three planets of good fortune, directly or indirectly, gather on this degree: value, abundance and duration. It doesn’t promise quick riches, it teaches accumulation. Here Jupiter’s expansion is usefully slowed by the pace of Taurus and the rigor of the sign, which gives a prosperity that is sober but robust.

With the Sun at 11° Capricorn, you manage resources well, yours and other people’s, and you’re readily trusted with budgets or a family estate. The Moon here treats material security as proof of love: a savings account, a roof, a generous table. Venus expresses itself here as loyalty and useful gifts, Mars as endurance. An Ascendant at 11° Capricorn inspires a feeling of solidity: you get the sense that things hold up around you.

Your lever is to invest in what gains value with time: a skill, a place, a relationship, capital. Define a five-year goal and break it down into regular installments. Beware of possessiveness, which can creep in once you have built a lot: sharing what you’ve gained, financially or through teaching, keeps security from becoming a fortress. The prosperity you build is more beautiful when it benefits others too.
