10° Sagittarius: Antares at the heart, the courage to aim high

From 10°00′ to 10°59′, this degree opens the 2nd decan of Sagittarius, under Mars, with an Aries dwad: fire meets fire, initiative joins enthusiasm. The term stays with Jupiter. This blend gives a conquering, frank, quick temperament that doesn’t wait for permission to move. Everything here is motion: you set off, you try, you correct along the way, convinced that boldness has opened more doors than caution ever closed.

Antares sits at 10°02′ Sagittarius, right at the heart of this degree. This red star, whose name means rival of Mars, is Mars-Jupiter in nature. Tradition sees in it exceptional strength of character, a taste for challenge, glory and calculated risk, with a flip side: excess, stubbornness or pride. A planet or angle touching this point receives an intensity that can’t be ignored, either from inside or from outside.

With the Sun at 10° Sagittarius, you have a destiny marked by boldness and a presence that commands attention. A Moon here lives its emotions on a grand scale, with generous impulses and frank angers that quickly pass. Mars at this degree is at full power: high-level sport, entrepreneurship, work in the field. An Ascendant here gives a fiery, sunny and slightly intimidating manner.

Your lever is mastery: Antares rewards those who learn to direct their fire rather than suffer it. Choose a cause worthy of your energy and pursue it with rigor. Practice a regular physical discipline to give this power an outlet. You will then become the person who dares what others can’t imagine, and does it with elegance.
